Roller Coaster BAD Days . . .

Those kind of days just have to happen every once in a while to clean out our tear ducts and induce LONG sleeps. Last night mine began with that little crying session at church and just went on and on and on -- like the freaking Energizer Bunny.

My first mistake was deciding it was a good idea to listen to Sinead O'Connor. Is it ever a good idea to listen to Sinead O'Connor? I'm not so sure. But, I digress. I got to work LATE this morning, only to find the only seats left in the meeting were the FRONT seats near my boss. Ugh. And after the meeting, I found out that we had to pack 9,000 books in boxes by Friday if we wanted help moving them across campus. (The problem here is that I only had today to do it.) The crowning glory of my day: my child's teacher told me she needs speech therapy. While this may be no big deal, the work can be cost-prohibitive when one's considering the veritable benefits of which bad neighborhood would make the best home...

I'm glad the year is over. I'm glad the BF and I will be in the same state tomorrow. I'm glad I'm headed to Roo. Let the roller coaster stop at the festival. I want to get off.
